Nothing drives me more bonkers than coming across a great recipe online, reading the author's description, tips and advice and then scrolling down to find a recipe in cups. It is such an inaccurate way to measure ingredients for a practice that requires such accuracy.
So many of us are baking using new recipes during our time confined to the house. Lots of you have got in touch to thank me for having all of my recipes in grams / ml, and I wanted to make an easy resource to allow you all to convert the measures used in other recipes. Below you will find conversions of the most common ingredients used in baking.

Converting LIQUIDS from cups to mls is much easier as both are volume measures. For ingredients such as milk, water, buttermilk, oil, vinegar, vanilla etc
1 cup = 250ml so with that in mind, half a cup is 125ml, a quarter is 62.5ml and so on.
Be sure to save a link to this page on your favourites so that you can refer to it whenever you need. Happy baking x
